Valento Apps Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-24
This Privacy Policy describes how Valento Apps ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you visit valentoapps.com (the "Site"). It does not govern our mobile apps — each app has its own policy:
If anything is unclear, contact support@valentoapps.com.
1. Who we are
Valento Apps is an independent publisher of Android mobile software. The Site is our public home page for product information, legal documents, and business contact details.
2. What the Site does
The Site is a static marketing website. You can browse pages, switch language and theme, contact us by email, optionally sign in with Google, and use our support chat when signed in.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information stored in your browser
| Data | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
Theme preference (light / dark) |
localStorage key valento-theme |
Remember your display choice |
| Language preference | localStorage key valento-lang |
Remember your selected language |
You can clear these at any time through your browser settings. The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
3.2 Sign-in on this website
If you choose Sign in and continue with Google, Supabase Auth stores a
session in your browser (localStorage) so you stay signed in until you sign out
or clear site data. We receive your Google account identifier, email address, and profile
name from Google for authentication only.
3.3 Information you send us
If you email us (for example support@valentoapps.com, dev@valentoapps.com, or marketing@valentoapps.com), we receive whatever you choose to include: your email address, name, message content, and attachments.
3.4 Hosting and technical logs
The Site is served over HTTPS. Our hosting provider may process standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.
3.5 Support chat on this website
If you sign in and use the Support chat widget, we store your messages and our replies in our backend (Supabase) so we can continue the conversation across visits. This includes:
- your Google account user identifier, email address, and display name (section 3.2),
- the text of messages you send and staff replies,
- image attachments you choose to send (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, up to 5 MB per file), stored in private cloud storage and accessible only to you and our support team through time-limited access links,
- optional captions you add alongside an image,
- timestamps and whether a message was sent by you or by our team,
- internal routing metadata (for example which support queue handles your request) and automated notices when your conversation is forwarded between support teams,
- technical signals needed to prevent abuse (for example per-message and per-image rate limits).
The chat is private to your signed-in account. Staff-only internal notes are not shown to you. We do not use chat content for advertising. We may close a conversation, temporarily disable new messages, delete a conversation, or block an account for moderation or when support is unavailable. When a conversation is deleted by our team, its messages and attachments are removed from our systems.
Images may be resized on your device before upload to reduce file size. Do not send sensitive personal data in chat unless it is necessary for your request.
4. How we use information
We use information only to:
- operate and improve the Site,
- respond to enquiries and support chat messages you send us,
- route and handle support requests within our team,
- protect the Site against abuse,
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — running a secure public website and answering business enquiries and support requests;
- Consent — where you voluntarily email us or send a support chat message or attachment;
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law.
6. Sharing with service providers
We use trusted processors that help us host the Site, authenticate sign-in, and store support chat messages and attachments. They process data only on our instructions. Our backend provider is Supabase (authentication, support chat, and private file storage). The Site may link to third-party services (for example Google Play). Those services have their own privacy policies.
7. International transfers
If data is processed outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards where required by law.
8. Retention
- Browser preferences remain until you clear them.
- Email correspondence and support chat messages (including image attachments) are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required. Deleted support conversations are removed from our database and associated private storage.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. Contact support@valentoapps.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the Site.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the Site or applicable law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
